Open call for new members

au JUS
is an artist-run project space run through role play and exercises of (un)worlding.

After two years of experimental programming, au JUS is announcing an open call for new members joining us from April 1st.

We are seeking new members who want to join us in building a program that centers games, speculative fiction, and collective practices to reflect, reimagine and rehearse social structures and forms of organizing.

Fusing methods of play, cultural analysis and dialog, we wish to cultivate a form of collective research with our members, residents and visitors.

We are looking for 3 or 4 new members to join our association and can contribute with their own practice as well as through monthly membership fees and taking on a changing role in the organization of the project.

The association is currently renting a three story building (basement + gallery space + residency apartment) in St Gilles (Jean Volders 24) In our struggle to cover the monthly rental cost (1350 Euro + charges) we also welcome other arrangements of sharing space with collectives or practitioners that are sympathetic to our cause.

au JUS aims to maintain a decolonial, queer feminist approach with an intersectional broad view on subjects and positions.
