Come and join the second open mic night for poets on the 11th of April in AU JUS!
Bring your own texts to read. All languages are welcome.
Max 6 minutes /pers. (for real )

This edition invites you all to tease yourself as a performative tool.

We see the teasing as a negotiation with denial, with the not quite yet, an instrument for generosity.

May it be through edging of sentences, revealing and unveiling, covering (covering a song?), a flirt with a syllable, a joke well timed, a joke badly timed, a poem made game, may it be through trickery…

Lure us into your almost –

This could be, for example, by using audio, a prop or a prompt, the use of voice, instruments, by instructing your audience, by using movement, or in the content of your text.

There will be drinks, (free) snacks and some merch.

Technical Info: We will have two microphones available, you can read with or without as you prefer. There will be options to play audio/music (line-in or bluetooth speakers), a projector and an adaptable DIY light and seating situation. Let us know via e-mail if you have any questions regarding the set up for your reading!
