Lietje Bauwens studied philosophy in Amsterdam and is now based in Brussels, where she co-initiated research projects such as "the new local" (2019) and the two film projects "WTC A Love Story" (2020) and "WTC A never-ending Love Story" (2023). She is co-editor of "Perhaps it is high time for a xeno-architecture to match" (Sternberg, 2017) and "Speculative Facts" (Onomatopee, 2021). She was a resident at the Jan van Eyck academy 2018-2019 and the managing editor of nY magazine since 2019.
